A roadtrip with the girls to a new quilt shop, Veronica Violet's in Rutherglen.
And below, a beautiful old antique quilt top that was brought to Saturday sewing. I thought you might be interested in seeing how small pieces were joined together and odd pieces were included to make up some of the blocks.

Great pics. Love those circles.
The circle are wonderful and it sounds like you're getting some quality stitching time in. I wouldn't mind a new quilting shop around these parts.
Your circles are gorgeous! I love your fabric choices. What did you use for your background? Is it a primitive muslin? I really appreciate seeing the antique quilt photos as well.
Great progress on the circles, they look fabulous. The antique quilt top is really beautiful. How great to get to see it so close up.
Hi, love the colour in your work. I have just become a follower on your blog. But I have been looking at your posts for awhile now. You inspired me to buy the pattern for Dancing dollies/Swan lake. I am doing mine in red and white. It is a fun quilt to make, and the largest one I have started on so far:-)
Thank you for the inspiration.
YOur blocks are always so inspiring! I especially love your colors...lovely!
Hi Sue-Anne,
I found your blog today through Marg Low. Your quilts are beautiful, especially clam shells and the Irish Circles. They will look amazing when finished. It's also lovely to see such a happy, proud Mum - what an achievement!
