Happy Easter & Klosjes Saturday

I hope everyone is enjoying their Easter Break.  The weather here in North East Victoria is glorious, beautiful and sunny through the day and cold enough at night to be snuggled under a quilt.

This is what I made with the fabric I showed on my last post.   It is just the right size for my hexagons.  I loved the fabric so much I went back and bought another metre to make a bigger bag!

And of course, today is Saturday so I have a report to make.  6 more klosjes made, making a grand total of 33!

We are celebrating tomorrow with a family barbecue.  Enjoy your hot cross buns and hope the Easter Bunny brings lots of chocolate!

The klosjes are looking wonderful together, love the colours. The bag is gorgeous in that fabric, you can't have too many and different sizes are good.

Love what you've done with the fabric! What a terrific little bag. You are really going fast with the klosjes; 33 is very impressive in such a short time.

Happy Easter,
Susan

Love the little bag - just right for all those hexagons! The Klosjes are looking really nice. You've got a nice eye for fabric choice.

By the way, I really like the quilt Buddy's on in your previous post (and he's looking good with his haircut, too :)

Regards, Sue

What a great bag you made. That is very cute.
Love the quilt blocks your doing too. Very pretty fabs.
You know I think we only get hot cross buns here in March for St. Patricks day. I heard someone asking for them the other day at a bakery. she said only that one week in March. Odd isn't it??
Happy Easter.

Hi Sue-Anne,
Happy Easter to you and your family. Lovely bag and that was quick action making it. Don't the klosjes look fabulous when you put them all together. Love that little blue one with the birds on. Get as much of the fabric as you can before it disappears - you will regret it if you don't. It's as good an excuse as any to go fabric shopping.

My oh my but your mantel-piece looks divine! I love your bag and oh your hexagons are fantastical magical!!! You know, I just have to say your spools are perfection. I mean, I know there is no such thing as perfect and we're all doing nice spools but I just love how yours are coming out. I'm not as pleased with mine but so much as to toss them out or stop. Not embarrassed but not as pleased as what I see here. I love them all spread out as they are in this photo. Pretty, pretty, pretty darn cute!!!
