Retail Therapy & Saturday Klosjes

These buttons are so cute.  Susan saw my Mason Jar buttons on my blog and very kindly gave me a big bag of buttons.  This is just a small sampling.  I love the old buttons on the cards.  My jar is three quarters full now!

I was also given these very special fabrics to add to Phebe.  I have always loved the pink and the blue pieces pictured in the front and I can't wait to use them.

I went shopping for some fabrics  to use in my Swan Lake hexagons ...

and added some more fabrics to the Phebe basket.  There is nothing like a little retail therapy to get me back on track.  Thank you to everyone for your positive comments on my last post.  I am over my little hissy fit now and feeling very positive about all the projects I am currently working on.

I managed to make 8 babies this week.  I am aiming for 5 a week and if I make a few more, then that is a bonus.

I now have a grand total of 21!  I am looking forward to getting a few more made so I can start sewing them together.

Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend.

I just purchased some new fabrics too! I can't wait for the delivery. I am tired just reading your plans! I try to not have more than one project on the go...my brain just doesn't compute more than that.
Love the quilt.

I love your little klosjes. I can feel my willpower against starting anything new weakening everytime I see them. I have a bunch of small pieces of civil war repro fabric that doesn't match anything else in my stash that would be just perfect, and I would like to learn how to hand piece. Feel... willpower... slipping....

I feel like I deserve a treat after finishing ALL those quilt show slideshows!

Happy Klosjes,
Susan

Oh, lucky you with the buttons - how nice to see the jar filling up.

Klosjes are looking great. I see some of your special new fabric in there! Well, hopefully your retail therapy's working for you - but even if it's not, it's working for me! Seeing all your fabrics on display is making me want to get out some of my fabric and play!

Regards, Sue

I used to have a piece of the soft pinky color fabric with the acorns on it. I will work well in a reproduction quilt.

Oh so pretty your Klosjes are. There is one in particular that I love. That lavender one. And aren't your scissors so adorable. Oh my gosh I love them. As for your hissy fit, I didn't really notice that but I'll agree there's nothing like a little retail therapy to lift a girls spirits.

Love new new stash additions and the buttons are adorable Sue-Anne. Your little babies are coming along beautifully, I have to say I was tempted to join in but I'm glad now I didn't! I just have so many projects going at the moment. Love your scissors in the photo too, can I ask you where you got them from?
Have a great sunday,
Lizzie

Lovely fabrics Sue-Anne and the klosjes are looking good. You have been very busy this week. You might like this little idea for displaying some of those pretty buttons. I made a mini wholecloth quilt wallhanging and in the spaces added the buttons as a sampler. Not that you need anymore ideas!!!
