Ta Da!

It's finally finished!  I was determined to finish Rosebud this weekend.  I finished the whirlygigs during the week and then worked all weekend on the melons in the sashings while watching the start of the Winter Olympics.

Has everyone seen one of these?  It is a Clover needle threader and it is the best thing I have ever bought!

And finally a photo of Buddy.  He has been relaxing on the couch while I have been sewing.  It's hard to tell in the photo but his head is at right angles to his body!  You can see his black nose to the right in the picture and his front paws are up in the air like a kangaroo.  I don't know how he could be so comfortable.

My westie lays like that...just too funny and don't we wish for that flexibility?
The quilt is awesome...how big are those little blocks ? They look like one inch all sewn together...very very pretty and I specially love the border.

Rosebud looks terrific. Those whirlygigs are beautiful. Well done on getting it finished. You must be very happy . . .

They say that cats like their creature comforts - but it seems that Buddy does too! Great photo.

What a terrific quilt! I just love the whirligigs, and the blocks are amazing. It turned out really really well.

And as far as Buddy's pose goes, well, here is my furry nephew, Arnie, who is probably 50 lbs heavier than your Buddy, but similarly arranged: http://s261.photobucket.com/albums/ii60/SusanInTexas/Christmas%20in%20GB/?action=view&current=HPIM1906.jpg

Take care,
Susan

Sue-Anne,
That is really beautiful and I love the colours. So pretty. Well done. I have a budgie that entertains me although sometimes I think am entertaining him. At the minute he is watching the birds in the garden.

Nice wirligigs. Lots of applique .congratulations on finishing.
Buddy must be confused about his species. My cat often sleeps in the upside down position. Doesn't look comfy tome.
Happy Stitching
