More Show & Tell

I had to go to the dermatologist this afternoon to get 5 sun spots removed from my face.  That will teach me for being a sun worshipper in my teenage years, plastering myself with coconut oil and in later years playing tennis three times a week in the hot afternoon sun without a hat.  Needless to say, my face is stinging a bit and I didn't achieve what I wanted today in the sewing room, so... more show and tell.

This is another project I am currently working on.  It's called Rosebud from Patchwork on Stonleigh.  And seeing as a few of you commented on how much you like stars, here are a couple more.

I can't remember the name but this quilt is a Primarily Patchwork pattern.  I have no skill whatsoever when it comes to piecing set in seams so I decided to handpiece everything in the quilt bar the flying geese.  I will handquilt this one some day.  You can't see too well in the photo but there are some lovely blues in there.

This last one is the same pattern as the pink one I showed a few posts ago.  I had a Charisma layer cake and got one star out of each piece - great way to show off a range of favourite fabric.

Oh, I hope your face settles down soon. Ouch!

The quilts are all lovely. You can't really pick a favourite, can you, as they all have their own bit of magic. I love that the same pattern can be made over and over and look brand new with different fabrics.

Regards, Sue

Lovely quilts all, especially the Rosebud. I particularly like how you have placed the 25-patch on point. That's a very cool idea; I'll have to remember that. It would make a terrific scrap quilt too. 8)

I feel your dermo pain. Awhile back I endured something similar. First with the electric needle, then with the icy blowtorch thing. I had to go to my favorite yarn shop to kill time while the pain diminished. 8) A 1000 curses on that darn old baby oil I used to slather on my face! What were we thinking?

All the best,
Susan

I love your work. I am working on that same blue quilt...just not in blue. In my pattern book it's called Spider Web.

3 Studies SHOW How Coconut Oil Kills Waist Fat.

The meaning of this is that you actually kill fat by eating Coconut Fat (including coconut milk, coconut cream and coconut oil).

These 3 researches from big medical journals are sure to turn the conventional nutrition world upside down!
